If your student is registered for one of our classes, and goes to school nearby, we are able collect them from their school and bring them to their class! We partner with certain schools in each of the neighborhoods we serve. These schools are listed in the description on each location’s School Pick-up Registration page. If you don’t see your school listed, feel free to reach out to kids@hexnyc.com and we will see what we can work out!

Afterschool Classes

For ages 8+, our Role-Playing Game (RPG) and Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) programs immerse students in collaborative storytelling that builds teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. We offer multi-level RPG after-school classes, D&D after-school classes, D&D sessions during day and summer camps, and year-round weekend D&D campaigns.

Our age-appropriate curricula for students ages 4–14. Little Learners, Brain Benders, Mind Masters, and Strategy Specialists use a rotating selection of board games to teach diverse game mechanics while developing key cognitive skills, including cooperative play, reward estimation, and perceptual organization. Classes run weekdays throughout the school year, with day camps offering exploration of our game library.

These classes prepare students for friendly competitive play by teaching the mechanics and strategy of games played in tournaments worldwide. Students build the skills needed to become tournament-ready. Card Strategy Specialists (Magic: The Gathering) is offered at our West Side location, Wargaming at Union Square, and introductory Chess at all locations.
